These versions all come with an 8.5″ barrel, SB Tactical SBTi subframe and two 25-round magazines (or lower capacity, depending on how much freedom your space allows).

It is the customer's responsibility to know their local and state laws before ordering ** I like to have at least one long rifle that can fire any caliber of ammunition I have around. Rifles chambered for centerfire pistol calibers provide more kinetic energy than any rimfire, but are also quieter and generally do not require suppression. The .45 ACP and .38 Special are my favorite cartridges for this, because standard pressure loads (not +P) are quiet when fired in the rifle, their contact is similar to firing a .22 rifle. They also have enough energy to kill deer-sized game at close range and have useful self-defense potential, while having a less lethal profile than a military-caliber EBR (Evil Black Bullet) that “ don't scare the natives".

.38 Special and .45 ACP work best for such purposes because they are loaded with fast powders that burn completely in a barrel length of only 5-6 inches. Normal 158 gr. lead bullet .38 Special loads gain about 150 fps. when comparing a 4 inch revolver with a 20 inch leverage. In .45 ACP, the expansion rate produced by firing from a rifle-length barrel, along with a much larger bore contact area, greatly increases bore drag, negating the effects of adiabatic expansion, so including a low or is also less. Velocity is comparable when firing the same ammunition from an M1911 cartridge. The muzzle velocity is very low so the report is similar to the ejection velocity of a standard .22 LR fired from a sporting rifle if the barrel length is greater than 20 inches. The velocity of any regular .45 ACP ammo when fired from a rifle is subsonic. I'm not trying to see how fast I can load small arms rifles; because stacking specialized "rifle jams" that are not used in the weapon defeats the purpose. The combination of heavy bullet weight, fairly good accuracy and low noise level is both pleasant and effective.
