Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn California consumers about exposure to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be present in the products Californians buy, in their homes or workplaces, or released into the environment. By requiring this information, Proposition 65 allows Californians to make informed decisions about their exposure to these chemicals.

Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to about 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987. Proposition 65 became law in November 1986 when California voters approved it by a 37-63 percent margin. The official name of Proposition 65 is the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Substances Act of 1986.

By using a firearm improperly, you risk injury or death. For safety: Before handling the firearm, read, understand and follow the instructions in the manual provided with the firearm. If there's anything you don't know, ask someone who is qualified to handle firearms. Children are attracted to weapons that can cause serious injury or death. Keep guns out of reach of children by keeping them locked and unloaded when not in use. If you keep a firearm where a child can get hold of it and misuse it, you could be fined or sent to jail. The Springfield XD-S Mod.2 Subcompact is a polymer-framed .45 ACP pistol that is thinner than the 9mm GLOCK 43 and weighs two ounces. Smaller than the .380 ACP Walther PPK/S. The XD-S Mod.2 subcompact packs 6+1 .45 ACP flying ashtrays into the handle, but carries your smartphone almost as well. Surprisingly, despite its compact geometry, the .45 ACP XD-S is still not the best in the range. That surprised me.
What's the funniest gun you've ever fired? I'm not talking about the Desert Eagle that makes you think you look like Arnold Schwarzenegger circa 1984 and weighs as much as your microwave. Interesting, not interesting. You don't want to hug it, you really don't want to take a picture of it. You just want to put on a leather jacket and flaunt it in front of a full-length mirror in the privacy of your bedroom. Don't hate, we've all been there. However, for the sheer joy of unfiltered shooting, I would have to say my favorite pistol is the Walther P22 with silencer.

The P22 weighs next to nothing, handles with lag-free handling, and won't hurt your eardrums when the case is closed. The P22 throws its little 40g. He directs the bullets skillfully and well. However, I once met a poor wretch in a city ER who had mastered a dozen of these little rounds and yet remained a charming conversationalist. The gun I carry to protect myself and my family is not for fun. It is supposed to be fatal. However, in the Springfield XD-S Mod.2 Subcompact, we actually get a bit of both.

Just in case you've been living under a rock, the Springfield XD line of combat pistols is the one to have in your toolbox. Mechanically delicate, as strong as an armored vehicle and completely reliable, XD guns feature superior engineering, advanced materials science and literally perfect execution. There are some common characteristics that define the genre.
The frames are polymer and are built around the frame-to-frame angle in the familiar 1911 style. The slides are made of forged steel and Melonite. A blade guard is built into the trigger as well as a grip guard built into the back of the stock. There are also fuses inside that you can't even see. These guns simply don't fire unless your hand wraps around the frame and the trigger is pulled.
The XD-S Mod.2 Subcompact condenses everything that's good and solid about Springfield's full-size combat pistols into something almost painless to carry. The barrel is hammer-forged, Melonite, and is only 3.3 inches long. The free slide is only on the left side, but the magazine catch is identically duplicated on both sides of the frame. If the electronic glow of trigger-carrying guns excites you, there's a short picatinny rail piece on the powder coating. The guide rod is full-length cap and has a loaded camera indicator on top of the slide - works even in the dark.
The new Mod.2 brings five special improvements. The front camera has an Ameriglo green Pro-Glo tritium insert in a yellow glowing circle, while the rear camera is tactical, hard steel and indestructible. This slider has Posi-Wedge grooves that are easy to grip but not rough enough to break. The shortened grip has improved grip and the trigger has been improved to facilitate target accuracy despite the pistol's compact dimensions. The Mod.2 frame also moves the arm higher to be closer to the axis of the hole, improving control and softening recoil.
Sig's Short, Sweet, Reliable .45
These rifles are available in black, FDE and two-tone black/stainless. The XD-S Mod.2 Subcompact looks like pure death and works as well as it looks. This gun is as skinny as a French supermodel and much more useful. The armor case that comes in is the best at this.
An eternal dilemma revolves around big bullets and small guns. Make the gun too small and load it with man cartridges and you're painfully inhibiting practice. Push the envelope any further and accuracy and reliability are lost. In the case of the Springfield XD-S Mod.2 Subcompact, we find a combination of reliability, power and comfort.
I've seen more than my share of bullet wounds. 9mm is usually enough. The .380 ACP can get you there with the right social ammo. A .25 ACP is just a lucky charm unless you can wrap your fist around the gun and hit someone in the head with it. In contrast, the .45 ACP removes all ambiguity from the social exchange of shooting.
Do not misunderstand; .45 ACP inevitably falls victim to physics when going through such a small gun. The gun is small and the bullets are big. All this energy has to go somewhere. However, Springfield packs this compact chassis with some serious anti-kick technology. The gun isn't really painful to fire, and keeping it on target isn't a chore even when you're in a hurry.

The XD-S Subcompact comes with two beautiful stainless steel magazines. The former packs five rounds of .45 ACP chaos into a pack that terminates at the base of the pre-shortened grip.
The magazine comes with a medium finger rest plate, but if space really suits, a flat floor plate is also included. In this configuration, you have a carry gun thick enough to hide in a convenient pocket.
The 6-round Mid-Mag X-Tension magazine features a polymer bushing that ties in perfectly with the rest of the XD-S geometry. X-Tension offers more actual grip clearance and also more room to overcome the inevitable pistol twist. For portability, pack the gun with a full magazine, then tuck the spare X-Tension on the other side of your belt for when life gets really bad.
Muzzle inversion is present but can be controlled with proper technique. The smooth trigger with striker is a little longer than I expected, but that's what I like in my deep carry rifles. The frame and slide are really stupidly thin, but the superior design makes the gun handle well. The views are magnificent. Reliability was naturally flawless in every load test regardless of maintenance. I suppose you could purposely break it with a hammer, but otherwise this gun will last forever.

Does it shoot straight? Damn, four of Hornady's five critical defense shots went into the same stinky hole at seven meters. It was almost too narrow to measure. The worst group of 7 meters
